Co-interior Angles
Co-interior angles means, pair of interior angles on the same side of the Transversal.

In the above diagram, transversal cuts the two lines and we get left hand side and right hand side.

Interior angles on left hand side of transversal are as follows:

∠ 4 and ∠ 6 (highlighted in yellow) - Pair 1

Interior angles on right hand side of transversal are as follows:

∠ 3 and ∠ 5 (highlighted in pink) - Pair 2

So, interior angles on the same side are known as Co-interior Angles or Consecutive Interior Angles or Allied Angles
