Definition: Segment is a region which is in the interior of circle. On one side, it is enclosed by a Chord and by an arc on the other side.
Or in other words, the region between a chord and either of its arcs is known as Segment of Circle

Segment of Circle is of the following two types:

  • Minor Segment: Minor Arc corresponds to Minor Segment.
  • Major Segment: Major Arc corresponds to Major Segment.
