## Exterior Angle Property of a Triangle : Solved Examples

Sum of Two Sides Angle Sum Property Angles opposite to equal sides of triangle are equal Angle opposite to longer side is greater Pythagoras Theorem Exterior Angle Property of a Triangle Mid point property of Triangle Triangles on same base & between same parallel lines

 Find measure of exterior angle whose interior opposite angles are 50° & 75° Let exterior angle be ∠ x And Interior opposite angles are ∠ y & ∠ z As given in the question: ∠ y = 50° & ∠ z = 75° Now, As per Exterior Angle Property of Triangle; we get: ∠ x = ∠ y + ∠ z Put the values of ∠ A & ∠ C from above and we get: ∠ x = 50° + 75° Solve R.H.S and we get: ∠ x = 125° Hence, measure of exterior = 125°
