Definition :-
A number is divisible by 2 if it has an even number at its ones place.
In other words, a given number is divisible by 2 if it has 0, 2, 4, 6, or 8 at it one's place.

Divisibility Principle of Whole Number 2 can be further understood from the following examples :-

Example 1 = Is number 50 divisible by 2 ?
Answer =Given number has Zero(0) at it's one's place;
and you know that 0 is an even number,
Hence, given number 50 is divisible by 2.

Example 2 = Is number 244 divisible by 2 ?
Answer =Given number has 4 at it's one's place;
and you know that 4 is an even number,
Hence, given number 244 is divisible by 2.

Example 3 = Is number 4208 divisible by 2 ?
Answer =Given number has 8 at it's one's place;
and you know that 8 is an even number,
Hence, given number 4208 is divisible by 2.

Example 4 = Is number 47 divisible by 2 ?
Answer =Given number has 7 at it's one's place;
and you know that 7 is an odd number,
Hence, given number 47 is not divisible by 2.

Example 5 = Is number 245 divisible by 2 ?
Answer =Given number has 5 at it's one's place;
and you know that 5 is an odd number,
Hence, given number 245 is not divisible by 2.

Example 6 = Is number 4209 divisible by 2 ?
Answer =Given number has 9 at it's one's place;
and you know that 9 is an odd number,
Hence, given number 4209 is not divisible by 2.
