Construction of Triangle with compass where length of three sides are given

Construction of Triangle where length of three sides are given Construction of Triangle where two sides & a angle are given Construction of Triangle where two angles and a side are given Construct Right Angle Triangle

Draw a triangle PQR, where PQ =4 cm, QR = 4.5 cm and PR = 5cm.

Step of construction as follows:

Step 1: Use ruler and draw line segment PQ of 4cm (as shown below):

Step 2: Use compass and 5 cm wide open. And with P as center draw an arc (as shown below):

Step 3: Again Use compass and 4.5 cm wide open. And with Q as center draw another arc, such that it cuts previous arc (as shown below):

Step 4: Mark point of intersection of both arcs at Point R (as shown below):

Step 5: Use ruler and Join points P & R and points R & Q (as shown below):

Step 6: Use ruler and measure length of sides PR and RQ
You will observe that PR = 5 cm and QR = 4.5
(And if you found measure of side PR and QR to be different, then there is some error and you have re-do it.)
Resultant diagram is of Triangle PQR with sides PQ =4 cm, QR = 4.5 cm and PR = 5cm (as shown below)
