As we know how to compare two natural numbers e.g. 5 and 7.
7 is greater than 5
Or we say 7 > 5
If we project the same on number line, we get:
From the above number line, we can see that 7 is to the right hand side of 5.
So from this we get that number which is on the right hand side of other number; is always greater.
