Define Sides of Polygon

Polygons and its Types Sides Vertex Diagonals Adjacent Sides
Adjacent Vertices's Perimeter Congruent & Congruence Axis Perpendicular Lines

Definition:Sides are line segments which when joined together, forms polygon.

In the following polygon (rectangle):

AB, BD, CD and DA all are line segments which are joined together and thereby formed a Polygon ABDC.
Hence, AB, BD, CD and DA all are Sides of Polygon ABDC.

Let study following polygons also and try to find out names all its sides:

Polygon 1:

In the above polygon, PQ, QR, RS, SP are the sides of polygon PQRS.

Polygon 2:

In the above polygon, AB, BC, CD, DE, EF, FA are the sides of polygon PQRS.
