Read the following example to understand How Ratio can be expressed as Fraction.
Example 1 = Express the following ratios as fractions.
1 : 2, 4 : 5, 11 : 13, 21 : 19, 100 : 2.
Answer = Expression of Ratios as Fraction is as :-
1 : 2 = 1/2, 4 : 5 = 4/5, 11 : 13 = 11/13, 21 : 19 = 21/19, 100 : 2 = 100/2.
Example 2 = Convert the following ratios into fractions.
12 : 3, 7 : 8, 17 : 13, 54 : 99, 29 : 20, 76 : 12.
Answer = Conversion of Ratios into Fractions is as :-
12 : 3 = 12/3, 7 : 8 = 7/8 , 17 : 13 = 17/13, 54 : 99 = 54/99, 29 : 20 = 29/20, 76 : 12 = 76/12
Example 3 = Convert the following ratios into fractions.
90 : 10, 25 : 100, 42 : 24, 37 : 9, 66 : 22, 83 : 13.
Answer = Expression of Ratios as Fraction is as :-
90 : 10 = 90/10, 25 : 100 = 25/100, 42 : 24 = 42/24, 37 : 9 = 37/9, 66 : 22 = 66/22, 83 : 13 = 83/13.
Example 4 = Express the following ratios as fractions.
8 : 10, 40 : 58, 75 : 25, 19 : 4, 111 : 222.
Answer = Expression of Ratios as Fraction is as :-
8 : 10 = 8/10, 40 : 58 = 40/58, 75 : 25 = 75/25, 19 : 4 = 19/4, 111 : 222 = 111/222.
