Property 1 = When we divide 0 (zero) by a Fraction, the Quotient is always 0 (zero).

Property 1 Property 2 Property 3

Following are some examples related to Property 1

Example 1 = Divide 0 by 2/5
Answer = The proceed is as :-
= 0 ÷ 2/5
Multiply 0 by the multiplicative inverse of 2/5 i.e 5/2, so we get;
= 0 ÷ 5/2
Multiply 0 with the numerator(5) and let the denominator same;
= (0 × 5) / 2
solve the bracket and also we know that Product of Zero and whole number is always Zero, so we get:
= 0/2
Now, we also know that the division of Zero by any whole number results to Zero.
= 0
Hence, We can say that When we divide 0 (zero) by a Fraction, the Quotient is always 0 (zero).

Example 2 = Divide 0 by 18/20
Answer = The proceed is as :-
= 0 ÷ 18/20
Multiply 0 by the multiplicative inverse of 18/20 i.e 20/18, so we get;
= 0 ÷ 20/18
Multiply 0 with the numerator(20) and let the denominator same;
= (0 × 20) / 18
solve the bracket and also we know Product of Zero and whole number is always Zero, so we get:
= 0/18
Now, we also know that the division of Zero by any whole number results to Zero.
= 0
Hence, We can say that When we divide 0 (zero) by a Fraction, the Quotient is always 0 (zero).
