Definition
Predecessor is one less of the given natural number.
Or in simple words, Predecessor is that number which comes before the given natural number
Also, we can say, if we subtract 1 from any given natural number, we get the Predecessor of that given natural number.

Some example related to Predecessor are as follows:-

Example 1 = What is the predecessor of 6 ?
Answer = Here, the given natural number is 6
To get Predecessor of 6, we will subtract 1 from 6
6 - 1 = 5
So, we get 5 as the predecessor of 6.

Example 2 = What is the predecessor of 30 ?
Answer = Here, the given natural number is 30
To get Predecessor of 30, we will subtract 1 from 30
30 - 1 = 29
So, we get 29 as the predecessor of 30.

Example 3 = What is the predecessor of 97 ?
Answer = Here, the given natural number is 97
To get Predecessor of 97, we will subtract 1 from 97
97 - 1 = 96
So, we get 96 as the predecessor of 97.

Example 4 = What is the predecessor of 184 ?
Answer = Here, the given natural number is 184
To get Predecessor of 184, we will subtract 1 from 184
184 - 1 = 183
So, we get 183 as the predecessor of 184.

Example 5 = What is the predecessor of 300 ?
Answer = Here, the given natural number is 300
To get Predecessor of 300, we will subtract 1 from 300
300 - 1 = 299
So, we get 299 as the predecessor of 300.

Example 6 = What is the predecessor of 4789 ?
Answer = Here, the given natural number is 4789
To get Predecessor of 4789, we will subtract 1 from 4789
4789 - 1 = 4788
So, we get 4788 as the predecessor of 4789.
