Multipication Expression in Algebra includes Multipication Operator (×) and Literal Number(s) and;or Constant(s).
For example = 5x, ab, 22pqr
In the above example we have :-
Literal Numbers = x, a, b, p, q & r.
constants = 5 & 22.
In Multipication Expression in Algebra, remember the following points :-
1). Omission of multipication sign between a number and a literal number.
For example = 5 × y is written as 5y, 27 × a is written as 27a.
2). Omission of multipication sign between two or more literal numbers.
For Example = x × y is written as xy, a × b is written as ab, p × q × r is written as pqr
3). When there is a product of a number and a literal number, number is always placed on the left side of the expression.
For Example = 5 × x and x × 5 both are written as 5x.
