Explanation of Middle Terms with the Help of Examples

Following example explains How to Find or Locate Middle Terms in a Statement of Proportion.

Example = 1 Find middle terms of the following:
      a) 1 : 2 :: 11 : 22
      b) 15 : 30 :: 8 : 16
      c) 50 : 25 :: 8 : 4
Answer = Middle Terms of the following ratio in Proportion:
      a) 1 : 2 :: 11 : 22     = 2 & 11 (Middle Terms)
      b) 15 : 30 :: 8 : 16   = 30 & 8 (Middle Terms)
      c) 50 : 25 :: 8 : 4     = 25 & 8 (Middle Terms)

Example = 2 Find middle terms of the following:
      a) 10 : 20 :: 1 : 2
      b) 5 : 30 :: 2 : 12
      c) 3 : 27 :: 1 : 9
Answer = The proceed is as :
      a) 10 : 20 :: 1 : 2     = 20 & 1   = Middle Terms
      b) 5 : 30 :: 2 : 12     = 30 & 2   = Middle Terms
      c) 3 : 27 :: 1 : 9       = 27 & 1   = Middle Terms

Example = 3 Find middle terms in the following statements of proportion
      a) 9 : 81 :: 5 : 45
      b) 100 : 50 :: 80 : 40
      c) 1 : 13 :: 2 : 26
Answer = The proceed is as :
      a) 9 : 81 :: 5 : 45           = 81 & 5     = Middle Terms in the Proportion
      b) 100 : 50 :: 80 : 40     = 50 & 80   = Middle Terms in the Proportion
      c) 1 : 13 :: 2 : 26           = 13 & 2     = Middle Terms in the Proportion
