Definition
To understand the meaning of integers we must understand,
What are Whole Numbers (0, 1, 2, 3, 4........) ?
What are Negative Numbers (-1, -2, -3, -4........) ?


The collection of Whole Numbers and Negative Numbers is known as Integers.
So, the numbers -5, -4, -3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5,.... and so on.....all are known as integers.
For example = -234, -45322, -21, 8, 34, 135, all are integers.
