What do you mean by " Whole numbers are closed under division ". Explain in detail and What is this property known as ?
By the statement " Whole numbers are closed under division ", we mean that division of whole numbers does not always give whole numbers.

Let's understand this with the help of following two equations:

95 ÷ 5 = 19

20 ÷ 14 = 2/7

So from the above two equation we can see that division of whole numbers does not always results in a whole number.

This property is known as Closure Property of Whole Numbers.
