Prove Closure property of addition of whole numbers, with p = 124 , q = 39
This proceeds as;
p = 124 and it is whole number ----------(1)
q = 39 and it is also a whole number------(2)

Now, add the given whole numbers i.e. p and q;
(p + q)
= 124 + 39
= 163

163 is a whole number,
or we can also say that
(p + q) is also a whole number ------------(3)

From (1), (2) & (3), we get
If p and q are whole numbers, then (p + q) is also a whole number.

Hence closure property of addition of whole number is proved.
