In a factory Number of cars sold in 4 quarter of year 2015:

Quarter 1 = 245
Quarter 2 = 134
Quarter 3 = 398
Quarter 4 = 222

Find total number of cars sold in year 2015
To find total number of cars sold in year 2015, add sales of car in each quarter and we get:
Total number of cars sold in year 2015 = Quarter 1 + Quarter 2 + Quarter 3 + Quarter 4
Put the sale of car in each quarter from above and we get:

= 245 + 134 + 398 + 222

Solve the addition expression and we get:

= 999

Hence, factory sold 999 cars in year 2015.
