Define Dividend

Definition:

Dividend is a number which is to be divided by another number

Or we can also say that:

A number or expression which is to be divided by another number or algebraic expression is known as Dividend.

Example 1: As shown below 24 is divided by 5, so 24 is Dividend



And you can also apply the following formula to calculate Dividend.

Dividend = Divisor X Remainder + Remainder
