Decimal Fraction

Definition :-
Fractions whose denominators are 10, 100, 1000......are known as Decimal Fractions
In other words, Fractions whose denominator is equal to 10x (Here 'x' can be any natural number) are called Decimal Fractions
e.g. 2/10, 4/100, 243/100, 54/1000, 345/10000.

Following are some more examples of Decimal Fractions

Example 1 = Find Decimal Fractions from the list of given fractions:
                      65/10,5/9, 10/24, 2/100, 234/10, 109/54, 87/90, 456/10000.
Answer      = From the given list of fraction, pick the fractions whose denominators is equal to 10x.
So, Decimal Fractions are 65/10, 2/100, 234/10, 456/10000.

Example 2 = Find Decimal Fractions from the list of given fractions:
                      50/24, 34/1000, 65/10, 243/109, 34/8, 88/100, 9/100.
Answer      = From the given list of fraction, pick the fractions whose denominators is equal to 10x.
So, Decimal Fractions are 34/1000, 65/10, 88/100, 9/100.

Example 3 = Find Decimal Fractions from the list of given fractions:
                      4/100, 67/50, 234/100000, 62/54, 9/98, 3/1000, 94/10.
Answer      = From the given list of fraction, pick the fractions whose denominators is equal to 10x.
So, Decimal Fractions are 4/100, 234/100000, 3/1000, 94/10.

Example 4 = Find Decimal Fractions from the list of given fractions:
                      57/2, 90/100, 901/1000, 35/85, 73/10, 230/43, 444/111.
Answer      = From the given list of fraction, pick the fractions whose denominators is equal to 10x.
So, Decimal Fractions are 90/100, 901/1000, 73/10.

Example 5 = Find Decimal Fractions from the list of given fractions:
                      78/100, 460/56, 917/100, 986/4682, 456/10, 70/10000000, 345/20.
Answer      = From the given list of fraction, pick the fractions whose denominators is equal to 10x.
So, Decimal Fractions are 78/100, 917/100, 456/10, 70/10000000.
