Define cube

Total Surface area of cube Lateral surface area of cube Volume of cube

What is Cube ?
A cube is rectangular shape solid body having same length, breadth and height is called cube.

1) A cube has 6 square faces
2) When two sides of a square in a cube join together we call it an edge. A cube has 12 edges
3) Where faces of an object join with each other is called vertex

In the below image

  • 6 Square faces in cube are - ABEF, DCHG, BCFG, ADEH, HGEF, ABCD
  • 12 edges in square are - AB, BC, CD, DA, EF, FG, GH, HE, AE, BF, CG, DH
  • 8 Vertex in cube are - A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H
